Silicone-Free Substrate Wetting Agent

Borchi® Gol 1375 is a silicone-free substrate wetting agent for paints and coatings. This flow and leveling agent is VOC- and APEO-free and can be used in solvent- and water-based systems.

Benefits of Silicone-Free Substrate Wetting Agents

Borchi® Gol 1375 is an additive based on nonionic and amphoteric surfactants that reduces surface tension and has low foaming tendencies in coating formulations. This flow and leveling agent shows a high affinity to hydrophobic surfaces.

  • Dosage

Borchi® Gol 1375 used for the substrate wetting should be added to the finished system. The recommended dosage is 0.05 to 1.50 % as supplied on total formulation. The recommended level can be used for orientation. The optimal dosage is determined through a series of laboratory tests.

  • Storage

Protect from the effects of weathering and light. Store at temperatures between 5 and 30°C. Once opened, containers should be resealed immediately after each removal of the product. Separation of turbidity may occur at temperatures below 10 °C. This process is reversible and does not affect the product quality. Coloration may occur at temperatures over 40 °C.

  • Safety

Please refer to our safety data sheet for information relating to product safety.
