Borchi® Nox 614 is easy to use and is simply stirred gently into the coating. lt is fully compatible with solvent-based alkyd
resins, oil-based paints and high-solids paints. During storage of coatings modified with Borchi® Nox 614, solvent
components may evaporate. This does not impair the efficacy of the product, however, as the active ingredient is nonvolatile.
Additions of Borchi® Nox 614 are dependent on the particular coating system and the desired properties. The
optimum dosage should be determined in preliminary trials in each case. From experience, an addition of 2 – 4 % by weight
relative to total formulation has proved suitable. With not pigmented systems and very light paints, it must be borne in mind
that Borchi® Nox 614 may cause slight yellowing.
Protect from the effects of weathering and store at temperatures between 5 and 30 °C. Once opened, containers should be
resealed immediately after each removal of the product. Borchi® Nox 614 should not be stored in the open air. Exposure to
direct sunlight should be avoided. The product must not be stored in containers made of copper, lead or brass.
